The hockey crossover is an essential part of any hockey player’s skating arsenal. In this video, we break down the crossover into easy teaching points and give ideas on how to coach your players into using better technique.

  2. OMG, toe snap?! How about adding rhythm to it. Three counts on the outside skate, three counts on the inside skate. Don’t you just hate those un-rhythmic, hoppy choppy crossovers? Keeping a good hockey stance and those shoulders parallel to the ice will get you into the new direction quicker, that’s for sure!
